Audiovisual Live Performance: B C H I J - Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism by Stefanie Sixt (Visuals) and Markus Behr (Sound).

An "...experimental examination of the five biggest communities of faith: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism - taken as examples for religious groups. The piece is an audiovisual observation and an exploration. There is no right or wrong. It is a contemplation, seen from a neutral point of view.
Electronic sound scores are mixed with alienated audio elements such as patterns of religious divinations. Wicked frequencies are the disturbing, irritating factor, not letting the listener lay back.
Abstract 3D Objects are representing the five communities of faith. They are embedded into spherical environments, that are temporarily associating brain wave activities or just evoke emotions, like freedom and restriction, belief and doubt.
The pictures reveal the idea behind the visible, obvious. Physical limitations are dissolved by imaginary structures, constructions of unreal spaces...."

Music video for image synthesis (Louis Dufort) and percussion (Philip Hornsey). The piece got presented at MNM festival 2009 smcq.qc.ca/smcq/en/, was produced as concert by ECM+ ecm.qc.ca/index.php?lang=e&fsrc2=/
and the Montreal Conservatory of Music as part of a thematic concert around the Monarch Butterfly.

"Finding a musical juxtaposition between trying to create security and finding one’s place, Fit into the crowd is based on a visual image of a character trying to musically find that place while keeping the urban security around them, with a tape part of different phrases commonly said for the sake of security like: I shouldn’t step too far out of place; It’s better to not take risks; Art beware, everything has been done."

Audiovisual short film: Ionisation by Flat-e.

The project began life as a film to accompany a performance by the London Sinfonietta of Edgard Vareses Ionisation. An inspiring 20th century composer who pioneered works that cross over into the electronic scene of today.
The piece shows what you can achieve when people collaborate in an unventilated environment where superglue fumes outweigh the oxygen 6:1.
